There are many small changes that we can make within our home to help influence calm! Here are just a few ideas.

This time of year makes it easier to bring nature within our space as our outdoor spaces open our world to nature. However, in times when our outside spaces aren’t accessible, we can bring nature to us indoors. The world of nature can be brought indoors through the use of house plants, botanical fabrics, wall-coverings, artwork and accessories.

We can also influence our moods by attracting our senses. This can be achieved by adding differing textures to our space through the use of area rugs, throws and toss pillows.

We can also fill our favourite diffuser or add fresh florals to enhance our space with the sense of smell and allow the calm aroma. Fresh herms such as rosemary, lavender and jasmine are known to calm and relive stress. During this time may we all find a sense of peace and create our safe haven.
